Āṅgan
The Gītā in daily Indian life.
The diya, the horn, the yoga mat. It was in the verses all along.
Āṅgan is the Gītā in daily Indian life. Each of its 12 stories begins with something you may already know from home: the diya at the door, the prayer before a meal, the gold bought at Dhanteras, the horn in traffic, the yoga mat in the cupboard, and the rules your grandmother kept about food. Then it shows the verse that stands behind it. The point is not that the Gītā explains these habits. It is that the verses were there all along, and you can read them.
To use it, choose a story from the grid, watch the short film, then read the verse under it in Sanskrit, transliteration and English. The count tells you where the verse sits in the 700. The paragraph called Going deeper explains what Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna are saying at that point and links to the chapter and verse pages.
Every verse is free to read at getvani.app/gita, with no account needed. Under the grid, the same stories are listed as plain links in number order, so you can scan the whole series at a glance.
